Welcome to Colonos de Rancho Cerro Colorado!  We are a private gated community located just 7 kilometers southwest of the town of San Jose del Cabo in Los Cabos, Mexico.

Over twenty years ago, Colonos de Rancho Cerro Colorado was founded, initially with just a few houses built perched on a hillside overlooking the Sea of Cortez.  Those initial residents formed the Colonos de Rancho Cerro Colorado Homeowner’s Association.  Since that time, our neighborhood has grown to include over sixty homes and condominiums.

Colonos de Rancho Cerro Colorado is becoming known as one of Los Cabos’ hidden gem communities, possessing undeveloped lots that offer dramatic views of the water and mountains of Los Cabos.  Each year, new residents are constructing villas in a variety of sizes and styles.  CRCC has become a wonderful blend of tile-roofed villas and contemporary modern homes, all surrounded by lush private tropical gardens and the natural desert landscape of Los Cabos.

CRCC shares direct beach access with the Palmilla Sur and Punta Bella communities, two small enclaves of homes located along the white sand beach at Punta Bella.  Our neighborhood’s location provides our residents with dramatic views of the Sea of Cortez, Palmilla Point, and the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains, as well as, beach access and proximity to all of the activities that Los Cabos has to offer.

We’re just a short drive from the towns of San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas.  San Jose del Cabo is less than ten minutes away and offers a wide variety of dining, shopping and cultural activities, as well as, a quaint small-town feel.  Cabo San Lucas, the better-known of the two towns, is located twenty minutes in the other direction and offers the high-energy entertainment that Los Cabos is most famous for.  El Merkado, an upscale food hall and shopping venue, as well as, the Fresko supermarket are located just across from the entrance to CRCC on the opposite side of the “Corridor”, or Transpeninsular Highway.
